How much networking... and when?

The AGM triggered the networking question and how and when this should be done.

Personally I think less is probably more - CADIA have one monthly networking meeting and it is always fully subscribed - why is that? Are the EGBA's weekly, monthly and bi-monthly meetings just too much? My vote on this would probably be for a monthly event, possibly with a speaker for 10 minutes to give some focus and purpose for attending.

Any thoughts?
