Burgess Hill – freehold land opportunity

Outline planning permission was granted in 2019 for a mixed use development, Brookleigh (formerly known as the Northern Arc) to the north of Burgess Hill, for 3,500 homes together with employment, community, education and public open space.

Homes England own the site and development has commenced with the delivery of road infrastructure in the western part of the site, and road infrastructure, new housing and public open spaces in the east of the site.

Part of the development includes a dedicated 4ha business park, to the west of the site adjacent to the A2300, including a new neighbourhood centre. The site has outline planning permission for up to 24,000m2 of employment space to be used within Use Classes E(g) and B2 (with a restriction of no more than 2,500m2 of E(g)(i) office space).

Homes England are seeking to dispose of the 4ha employment site on a freehold basis, as a single site, and are currently seeking expressions of interest, through their agents Thomas Lister Ltd.  They can be contacted through the following email address: chris.thomas@thomaslister.comThe deadline for confirming interest and supplying a capability statement is no later than 1pm on 3rd September 2022. Details are available HERE.
