28 Aug Green Homes Grant Scheme
Next month the Government will be launching its green homes grant scheme. Under the scheme homeowners and landlords will be able to apply for grants to install green home improvements ranging from insulation of walls, floors and roofs, to the installation of low-carbon heating, like heat pumps or solar thermal.
The Government is encouraging tradespeople to register for TrustMark or Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) accreditation to take part in the scheme.
