12 Jul Imberhorne School – Mock Interviews
An academic year goes very quickly but for Imberhorne’s Year 10 students it will seem to go even quicker as this time next year they will have completed their GCSE exams, had their leavers assembly and their prom.
Having completed their first weeks work experience at the end of June, and their Year 11 entry exams over the last two weeks, this week saw them all submit a letter and CV for a job application and attend an interview as part of their Post 16 journey. Every Year 10 student seemed genuinely pleased and excited about their feedback and the comments that they received.
Next step will be University visits, A level taster days, followed by future interviews, and their sixth form open evening next November and longer A level taster sessions to fine tune their sixth form choices at level 3.
Applications for sixth form are followed by their December mocks. Mock results day in early January is quickly followed by formal offers onto A level courses.
