Do you have the skills, the community spirit and the passion to become a MSVA Trustee?
Mid Sussex Voluntary Action provide support services to local voluntary organisations across the region from East Grinstead through to Burgess Hill, Haywards Heath and surrounding rural areas, enabling them to set up, grow and thrive.
Our registered charity is governed by a board of hardworking trustees all of whom are volunteers. They bring a wide range of skills to the organisation which enables MSVA to work efficiently and effectively.
We are currently looking for people from all walks of life to bring in their skills and experience to help us continue providing an excellent service to the communities of Mid Sussex.
Ideally you will have an experience of aspects of running or managing an organisation and some understanding of the Voluntary and Community Sector. Key skills are as follows:
- Understanding and acceptance of legal duties, responsibilities and liabilities of trusteeship
- Experience of committee work
- Good communication skills
- Commitment to the organisation
