NTE 2022/18: introduction of additional sanctions against Russia

Please see Notice to Exporters 2022/18 informing about the introduction of new trade sanctions on Russia introduced on 22 June 2022. The measures in The Russia (Sanctions) (EU Exit) (Amendment) (No. 10) Regulations 2022  include the prohibitions on the export, supply and delivery, making available and transfer (as well as related technical assistance, financial services, funds and brokering services) of certain goods and technologies, including additional oil refining and critical industry goods and technology.

Guidance on the scope of sanctions against Russia, including the circumstances in which licences can be granted, can be found on the GOV.UK Russia sanctions: guidance page.

There are also financial sanctions against Russia and further information is available from the Office for Financial Sanctions Implementation (OFSI).

You are advised to open the Notice to Exporters and all embedded hyper-links to see the full scope of the sanctions.

As a business, it is your responsibility to read the new legislation and take appropriate action.
