26 Jun Progressive Rugby Club Seek New Players for Senior Squads
East Grinstead RFC are recruiting for a new season ahead and launch a new film showcasing senior men’s rugby and the club’s commitment to provide rugby playing opportunities for men of all ages and abilities.
Matt Ratana, Head Coach of East Grinstead RFC said “Having previously competed at a national level, one of our goals is to return to the London Leagues. Last season the squad made significant progress towards this, coming runners up in the Sussex Cup and securing a promotion playoff, which was curtailed by lockdown. Our Colts development squad was unbeaten and in sight of winning both Premiership and Cup titles.”
“The club are used to bringing new talent into their squads and have a great induction process. With excellent facilities, an experienced coaching group, tailored fitness programmes and professional guest coach sessions to enhance learning, we are committed in providing players with a fun and challenging performance pathway. So, whether you are an experienced player or new to the game, if you are focused, determined, dedicated, disciplined and motivated, we would love to hear from you. London’s calling” added Matt Ratana.
At present it is unclear when the rugby season will start due to COVID-19 restrictions, but pre-season training will commence at the club on Tuesday 7 July 2020, 7.00pm-7.45pm, adhering to strict RFU and Government guidelines. Come and meet the players and the coaches.
