- East Grinstead Town Council have agreed their budget for the 2023 / 24 financial year and this will mean a precept increase of just 1 %.
- Town Council are arranging a Kings Coronation day high street parade for community groups on Saturday 6 May. ( further details to follow )
- The EG Lions Club annual May Fair will be on Monday 1 May in the High Street and anyone wishing to have a gazebo or promotion stall or programme advertising then please contact Sharan Billings on sharanandangel@gmail.com
- The East Grinstead Rugby Club are holding their annual Sunshine Sevens rugby charity event on Sunday 23 April between 11 am and 6 pm at the Mike Gearon Pavilion in Saint Hill Road East Grinstead. Corporate sponsors on the day or for programme advertising please contact organiser Garry Gordon on Garry.gordon@btinternet.com This is a very popular event attended usually by some 2.000 people.
- The East Grinstead section of the Mid Sussex Marathon ( nine miles ) takes place on Saturday 29 April with the start & finish line at East Grinstead Rugby Club at 10 am and a course traversing Weir Wood reservoir. Entries and sponsorship opportunities please contact Mid Sussex District Council.
- Mid Sussex District Council Micro Business Grants – Mid Sussex District Council have recently awarded further micro business grants of £ 2.000 each to a number of small businesses – including 1 Middle Row and to Kitchens Bespoke in East Grinstead. Future applications can be made via the MSDC website.
