23 Jul Some students organised their own work experience this year!
Thank you to all those local business members, who allowed students of Imberhorne School, to organise their own work experience this summer term.
Neve, a Year 12 business student at Imberhorne School, was keen to discover what a career in hospitality would be like and with 160,000 vacancies nationally I am sure the industry is very much looking forward to welcoming her after her A levels finish in 2022. Rob and Team Tasting Rooms were quick to provide five days this week, getting to know the ins and outs of the business and Neve was amazed just how much of the products available were sourced locally. The Tasting Rooms Top Team from left to right include, Will Kemp, Gina King, Neve & Emma White
Whilst Jack, a Year 10 student was keen to gain work experience as a commercial painter and Aaron Evans, Owner of AA-Brushed was more than pleased to welcome Jack to his team for the week. The great thing about work experience is that it can quickly cement the career path being considered or quickly put you off the idea. Either way, young people gain valuable life skills and additional lines on their CV.
